yep. it happened. the skies opened - quite literally, if you consider the clouds moving aside to be opening - and all was well.
now - sky opening is usually considered to be raining. but if you think about it, that means there actually is something in the sky - and albeit that stuff is falling, it is certainly not opening anything. sunny skies are really open skies.
and it was sunny.
so I took a nap on the picnic table, in the sun.

Sorry I haven't been reading much or commenting! I had a break-up, a get-back-together, someone's wedding, and then knee surgery all in the span of 2 weeks!
And now I have to catch up on schoolwork since I've been laid up post-op at home! Ave maria...

Oh, I read a little, and it seems you're already back, yay! Thanks for the postacards, by the way, they were the highlights of my mailbox when I had nothing to look forward to but new tree books and hospital bills. So, we need to have a lunch meeting at some point I have decided. I'll give you a call next week sometime when I'm up to driving. Man, I miss Burlington. Hmm...incidentally, if you get this today, what are you doing tomorrow (Wednesday the 24th) from 11:00- 12:30 ish? :) Bye Eli!!
